As the sun was setting last night this song came on. Its one of my all time favorite songs. It has some strange affect on me. Maybe because it was written by Carol King and I adore her as an artist. Or maybe its because when she sings it I can hear myself in this song. Or maybe its James Taylor singing it that really hits my soul. Maybe its because Ive heard the song since I was 2 years old. ha ha ha - I often wonder why music has such a huge part in my life?

Last night when it came on I was sitting in my lil bungalow and just started to look around the room. WOW do I love my home! The song was playing and I looked up and the sun was hitting the wall and I had to take a photo.........

Then I turned around and looked out thru the half moon window..........how beautiful the trees outside looked ........
Ive looked out the french doors onto the patio a million times.......why was it more incredible than ever last night?

And look how pretty the sky was.......It had rained all day and then this........just looked so peaceful outside. I was still listening to the song and humming along down the hall into my room and saw all the beautiful colors in my side yard..........reds, blues, greens, yellows........more peace came over me......The song was just about over and I opened up the front door and took a deep breath in and another...........I could smell the eucalyptus candle and sandalwood incense coming from inside the house.....I turned and saw the surfboard I painted.......how lovely to enter into my home everyday to such a lil gift....a bunch of mantras I live by...Peace, Faith, Love, Truth, Laugh and Breathe.......
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am blessed. Another beautiful day in paradise ;-)
